The contracts are the most recent in a string of actions that show the mining sector is rebounding.
According to U.S. Bitcoin Corp (USBTC), big companies including Marathon Digital Holdings (MARA) have signed multi-year contracts for U.S. Bitcoin Corp to host 150,000 bitcoin mining equipment.
The deals demonstrate the mining sector's apparent recovery, which is attempting to recover from a difficult 2022. Numerous significant miners went bankrupt as a result of the cryptocurrency slump last year, including Compute North, which had previously operated the three USBTC sites.
The three bitcoin mines are situated in Granbury, Upton County, Kearney, Nebraska, and Granbury, Texas. Generate Capital, an energy investment company, acquired Compute North's share in two

whereas the Upton County facility is owned and run in a 50/50 joint venture with NextEra Energy (NEE), the other two sites—one in Nebraska and one in Texas—are located elsewhere.
Among the new hosting customers of USBTC are TeslaWatt, Decimal Group, Sphere 3D (ANY), Foundry, etc. Digital Currency Group, the parent organization of CoinDesk, owns Foundry.
One of the greatest industry consolidation maneuvers is being completed by USBTC and Canadian Hut 8 Mining (HUT).

Hut 8 has been experiencing operational issues, whilst USBTC has seen positive advancements in its operations and also achieved an agreement with the city of Niagara Falls to continue operating its bitcoin mine there.
